GGG Pepper Jelly Brownie Bites
While this combination may make you wonder - try one bite and you’ll soon be wondering where the whole pan disappeared to! Cut into bite sizes for a gathering, or larger for personal self-indulgence. Use a 10” x 15” baking pan.
Ingredients
1 jar Grey Goose Gourmet Pepper Jelly (for this recipe we love Hot or Strawberry Peach Basil).
1 box of brownie mix
1 ready-made or homemade sugar cookie dough, frozen
2 c. chocolate morsels
Directions
Prepare brownie mix as directed on box and pour into the baking sheet.
Bake for 375º for about 18-20 minutes, until just firm on top. Remove and cool for 10 minutes.
Microwave the jar of pepper jelly to a soft consistency. Stir.
Gently spread the jar of pepper jelly evenly over brownie surface to pan edge.
Grate frozen sugar cookie dough over jelly to desired amount and sprinkle 1.5 c. of chocolate morsels on top.
Return to oven and bake for another 16-18 minutes, until top is slightly golden.
Cool completely. Drizzle with remaining 1/2 c. melted chocolate.
Cut into squares and this savory but-oh-so-sweet treat is ready to go!
